The towns are situated around the Shadow Mountains, which were formed during the Breaking of Arcadia.
During the Demon Invasion of Eridon, Shirebrook & Newfort were destroyed by the Demons. The town of Whiteshore was destroyed by unknown means during this time period. Split County's population were either slain or fled the region.
