Embershore, in the Spice Islands, Northern Drekis. A bristling hub of trade and agriculture, despite residing in the shadow of the two mountains Gol and Valsuvius. At least, it was until the massive storm set in, setting off the dormant volcano Valusuvius in the process. Fortunately the lava flow avoided the township of Valuton, but the storm's effects cannot be ignored, having wiped out most of the population and vessels.

On 1509-06-15, the island was teleported to next to Gade Isle in Northern Eridon.
On 1509-07-12, the dragon Brimstone, the Fire Incarnate, escapes from beneath Mount Valsuvius. Maribel's Marauders are blamed to helping Brimstone's escape and in the death of the wizard Barthas.
On 1509-11-15, the island returned to its original position.
